Wanting to add lamps to illuminate to bookshelves along the store's walls, they have contracted Grand Light who have previously designed lamps of similar concept for a private residence's library. Grand Light received the floor plan of the bookstore as well as the desired length of fixtures and local constraints that need to be considered.
Grand Light will manufacture a total of 4 fixtures with lengths of approximately 11', 25', 33', and 18' with a curve. The fixtures design consists of a steel rode that will extend the length of the wall with a lamp with an adjustable head on a curved steel neck every 2 feet. The fixtures were drafted and approved by the client prior to fabrication.
The drawings contain pictures of the hardware components that the client approved, the wall mounting caps, the central rode finial, and the head swivel part that will allow the lamp head 90 degrees up-down movement and almost complete 360 degrees rotation.
